When does tinkering with a system change it from a "respin" to a fraken-debian? Is it just when things break? I've made a list of modifications and I'm not sure if it's worth posting as a respin or if it's just a disaster waiting to happen.

Modifications are:
- liquorix kernel
- Systemd
- Btrfs ...

Hey! Sorry I was curious how you keep cinnamon up to date? I don't see any additional repos from normal MX.

I don't see any repos pointing at Mint or Cinnamon projects so how does the DE get updated?

Do you do anything specific with power management in your systemd only respin? I've installed the offical KDE iso and systemd won't suspend my laptop properly. I have a forum post about it.

Fixed the problem sorta. Downloaded and installed Dolphin Oracle's custom respin of systemd only MX 23 and then installed plasma.

Works great.

So I've updated to kernel 6.4 and Charlie Brown is correct! It suspends when it's plugged in! But does not on battery power.

Also if it does suspend ( when plugged in) when it starts again KDE does not work correctly. This is on X11.

I tried switching to Wayland and it seems to be suspending and ...

I selected the new kernel on boot with no success.

Sadly switching kernels didn't help.
