Hello! I realise you're looking for something for Linux, but I strongly recommend YUMI for Windows. I vaguely remember trying it in WINE, but I don't recall whether it worked the same as in Windows or not. In Windows, it was always my go-to. Good luck in your quest.

Re: polybar installation [Solved]
It is really trivial to install... here's a wonderful guide: https://medium.com/@tatianaensslin/install-polybar-in-3-steps-on-debian-stretch-c64ab6157fb1 btw. I am currently experimenting with i3wm & bspwm (on both antiX & MX). FWIW I'll publish what I learn. Thanks again, manyroads! I look forward ...

So you were able to get the 1.8.0 installed? Ah, I see it now! (via Synaptic in Settings/repos/ticking the test repo box...and it was right there, when checking the "mx.list" file) Apologies for being slow :turtle: and not checking locally, first. Apologies for posting a wall of text, using color ...

Re: polybar installation [Not Solved!]
Polybar's not in the MX repo because nobody's asked for it. May you please introduce Polybar into the MX repo? I think a lot more people would ask if they knew it would have some chance of being introduced, a lot of people just give up if they don't see it there. Polybar was one of the reasons why ...

Re: TIL MX Linux has a sub-reddit
if we up the active presence we can get this rolling and make it a good resource for people who don't necessarily come to forum. Indeed! And, have you thought about adding the link to this Reddit section for the "Alternative User Forums" section on the MXLinux Distrowatch page? (If it's allowed ...
