Also, Firefox-esr says "inactive" by default. Is esr the default firefox in mx? Not sure how it is out of the box, but one update and you are managed by the orginization. It s interesting how some devs choose to use enterprise policies, and others do not. Makes me wonder why. Could it be just a ...

If you right click on the thing you can open Synaptic. In there you CAN tell what to upgrade and what not. Also if you right click on the thing you can open MX Package Installer. In there you CAN tell what to upgrade and what not. You can also read the manual, which is very helpful in learning ...

I would rather uninstall mx updater considering it gives me no ability to say no to any updates, or rather, specific updates. I found a way to remove that stupid DisableAppUpdate profile by deleting the profiles.json file. Now the file isn t there anymore. Firefox documentation states profiles.json is used to manage enterprise profiles, so where s the file? It s bs that devs locked down firefox. Whats next?
