That could explain why the kernel wasn't auto-updating on the machine.

I changed mirrors to Salt Lake City and I'm using Kernels from Popular Applications to update the kernel and I receive the same location not found error.

Your / file system is almost full. LINUX acts weird when that is the case.

Clear up some of the space and I bet the problems go away.

Version 1.3.4 is available. I have Version 1.1.6 installed from MX Package Installer. The music stops after a set period of time and I wonder if 1.3.4 fixes the issue.

Install zlib1g-dev.

EDIT: When I installed 3.7.2 from the test repo, I had to change 2 linked files in /usr/bin to point to the correct version because the original linked files pointed to 3.5.3.

Python 3.7.2 is in the MX Test repo. Use MX Package Installer to install.

I think it's the port Samba uses. Nothing related to Microsoft unless you need to do file and print sharing with Microsoft systems.
