I would love to pitch in with any small way I could, and I know what a beta is. My thought on trying the newer beta is that it *just* might actually install on my machine. Like, is there anything that might have changed as far as it working with a brand new drive, and a brand new machine for the ...

I tried the first beta and it would just not work. Put 18.3 back on, but wondering if it was worth it to try the next beta iteration?

I thought the latest version of the installer which should be part of the beta did a swapoff already.

@blindside: It would be nice if you could open a terminal and run
sudo minstall -E
then copy everything in the terminal and paste it here inside of code tags .


$ sudo minstall -E ...

I fell like a frickin complete newbie. I have never had issues installing, but maybe if the partition schemes in gparted were broken down to me, I might be successful. Can anyone tell me, in gparted, how they set up this beta and were successful.

I tried to install the new beta that just came out and everything was going great until the install stalled at 2% formatting swap. Have there been any reported issues with this?

I ran the built in Dell diagnostics and it said the ssd was good. I have tried to reinstall several times but nothing is working. One thing is that in the bootloader sequence, openSUSE is the first one on the list, so got rid of that one per #Huckleberry instructions. I tried reinstalling again and ...

The first listing was for SUSE, and the rest MX. I played with suse for a minute. I just manually reinstalled with gparted on a live usb and the same thing happened.
