Re: Fluxbox Toolbar - default config for mxfb?

Lately I've added a 'calendar' button to my fluxbox' native toolbar. This button executes a toggle-script that sets a simple yad-calendar near this button.
The script checks the current value set for session.screen0.toolbar.placement in ~/.fluxbox/init (i.e top|bottom|left|right) and uses the ...

Re: workspace names (very minor topic)

I'd say we go for w1, w2
At least the preceding 'w' keeps some reference to 'workspace' - instead of '#' which could be interpreted as 'ranking' ...

Re: workspace names (very minor topic)

I quite like the use of symbols for workspace names -- but to have a consistent display in other window-types/applications (like fluxbox rootmenu, or rofi's workspace-menu etc), such will need to be limited also to 'symbol-capable' fonts only.
My vote goes to simple 1,2,3,4 or W1,W2,W3,W4 and the ...

Re: MX Fluxbox Screenshots

If you mean CharlesV' original 'BatteryNotification' script, see https://forum.mxlinux.org/viewtopic.php?p=812272#p812272

Or if you mean the modified script (using slighlty different name batt-notifications ), see below:
#!/usr/bin/env bash ...

Re: MX Fluxbox Screenshots

Since using fluxbox' native toolbar as default panel (instead of tint2), I needed to find an option to substitute tint2's internal low-battery warning setting.
I tried 'cbatticon' systemtray application, and a well-tested 'batsignal' script - but those still consumed more memory than I liked.
At the ...

Re: workspace names (very minor topic)

Had another quick look. It works for tint2, but symbols are not displayed in fluxbox toolbar

These symbols do show up correctly in fluxbox toolbar (and in rootmenu), provided a suitable font is used, such as DejaVu Sans (see below scrot)

Re: workspace names (very minor topic)

Well, my bad too...
When using the HackNerdFont-Regular.ttf (that I provided a download link for above), then most of the fontawesome glyphs look partly cut-off -- and the workspace glyphs (like dice etc) do not show at all !!

However, when using an earlier version of Hack Regular Nerd Font ...
