MX Remaster and MX Snapshot on Debian?
Hi,
is it possible to install MX Remaster and MX Snapshot on Debian (9 or 10)? If yes, how? Obviously the deb-packages cannot be installed.
Thanks in advance

Re: no smooth scrolling with xfwm, kde and gnome - why?

Re: no smooth scrolling with xfwm, kde and gnome - why?
well the computers that I checked out today were not exactly budget pc's at the fh technikum (it is something like a technical/it university), they had 16 GB of ram, 8-core-cpu's, well and the intel hd 6xx graphics.
Honestly I would be happy if someone with different hardware could tell if this is ...

Apparently this is an Intel resp. modesetting driver bug. Apparently these Intel video cards are just not good.

Well it is a bit better when I am using Compton, it is also better when using no compositor at all and it is worst when using the xfwm4/compositor
it is very well noticeable with horiyontal lines or text since text kind of also consits of horizontal lines

btw I did try a different mouse - same. I do not think it is the mouse or the touchpad.
edit checked again openbox, a little bit better than xfwm4, kde and gnome-cinnamon, but not perfect either
I think Marco and Compiz are the best in this respect
