Re: Technical question about High DPI and scaling [Solved]
if you have gtk scaling enabled, login, and logout, then the equivalent qt scaling parameter will be applied.
anything else would be on an app by app basis.

Re: How do I put MX_Linux onto my Lenovo ThinkPad (E15 Gen 3) ?
Thanks again, everyone, for the help. It has been a learning experience. I finally caved and sent the laptop to a computer specialist and he did a clean install of MX_Linux.
Now I have a lot of reinstalling to do, like Gimp. But that is actually fun.
I believe GIMP comes preinstalled on MX ...

Re: No sound with my enigmatic Pentium Silver HD Audio
A quick web search for your soundcard in Linux turned up https://askubuntu.com/questions/1237007/driver-for-intel-corporation-atom-celeron-pentium-processor-x5-e8000-j3xxx-n3xxx which suggests adding this boot parameter right before "quiet splash":

Re: screen resolution theme changing in new 21.2 (ahs) install [Solved]
Another thing that might be happening is that your display manager might be re-detecting the monitor each time you unlock your session. What I would try is (assuming you have Xfce not KDE) go to Settings/Display, click the Advanced tab (after setting it to the correct resolution on the General tab ...

Re: Internet Connection issue
Well, one: you're using an outdated (though still supported) version of MX. You should really be using MX-21AHS. Two: if your MX-19 installation has been in use for a long while there's probably a lot of cruft on the system just like you eventually get with any OS. Three: you've left your MX Test ...

Would need your Quick System Info to help you with that. It may be different in KDE than in Xfce.
