Re: Can't setup HP printer
No I ran the hplip I just installed. How do I install the CUPS version?CharlesV wrote: Thu Jan 04, 2024 4:07 pm Are you using the hpcups supported driver? ( 3.22.10 )
I have found the cups printer drivers to work better for HP printers.
Edit: That printer is listed as Laserjet m14-m17 in the HP section.

Re: Can't setup HP printer
When I try to print it tells me it's a generic printer not a HP M14-M17 series.

It's supported. It works under openSUSE.CyberGhost wrote: Thu Jan 04, 2024 2:46 pm Also, do check to make sure your printer is supported. Not all HP printers are supported in Linux. Here's the supported list:

Re: Missing software menu
No because I am a little reluctant to use the cli method as I don't know how to backup my panel.

Re: Personal comment
I am back on MX Linux. My equalizer solution was simple. I stuck a car equalizer under my monitor foot and run it off my desktop power supply. It gives me 7 bands, adjustable by knobs as sound is playing. I do appreciate all of your efforts to help me.
