VLC - set to continue playback?
When I close a VLC video and restart it, it no longer starts where I left it, it starts from the beginning. in tools-->Preferences, I have checked 'continue playback?' to always as you can see in the picture below at the bottom. This started in the last 2 or 3 days. I noticed it then. Any workaround ...

Best total system AND files backup? [Solved]
Hi everyone. What's the best way to backup the entire state of a machine? If it makes a difference all of mine use MX KDE, although it should work fine on XFCE as well right? I was thinking of using cloning software, but there must be a way that the updates only add the new data, not start from the ...

JBL Go Speaker Sounds terrible!
Hi everyone. I've installed my little BluetoothJBL GO and it sounds horrible. My BT headphones sounds perfect though. I've tried the older version MX KDE tricks with Pulse Audio etc.... but nothing fixes it. It sounds like there is no Bass and that it's not stereo sound. Also I can barely hear it ...

Re: Is Discover used for updates in 23, or not?
From a quick search, it seems you can integrate flatpak software into discover with plasma-discover-backend-flatpak. discover-flatpak.png I googled it, but can't find a solution. Are there any advantages to using it? Otherwise I wont bother and do it manually. It even gives me a notice that updates ...

Is Discover used for updates in 23, or not?
I re-installed MX23, and now Discover shows up, or I should say down on the right. Are all updates done via it? Flatpaks, debs, mx software...etc...?

Re: What to backup before new 23 install?
Any fonts, icons and themes that you installed by pasting into the relevant dot folders in your home partition? And other useful dot (hidden) config files/folders. Eg your .mozilla folder. I can re-install the themes, but didn't think of my mozilla folder, thanks. I've already backed up my emails ...
