Re: Request: An option to install only the locales we need
Yes, it would be nice if other locales other than the ones you need were not installed.

Re: Xorg has been Forked!
If they brought back TinyX I might be interested, but as others have said, Wayland is the future for Linux, (& maybe BSD).

Re: What do you want MX25 to be.?
Sorry, haven't read all this thread, but all I ask is that things like flatpak, be user option to install or not, don't make it default, stick with deb packages only.

Re: Can I use toram on an HD install?
A frugal install is similar to a live USB, but running from your disk, which will be faster than from a pendrive.
Frugal install will be the closest to loading to ram - check out Puppy Linux, you can make your own system, & 'squash' it up, to make a new version.

Re: Help on purging flatpak [Solved]
Seems like it would be a better practice to not include any flatpak in a release, but to leave it up to the user to install, if wanted!

Re: Is your stuff backed up?
A lot of the stuff on the internet is old & out of date, so I don't think many would miss it, whereas, most people who use the internet have copies of their data already...

Just about any OS will read FAT32, so yes, probably a good option.

Re: I wonder why other distros don't borrow from MX [Solved]
I think, for people who want or need, a full blown distro, MX hits the nail on the head, & with a few customized off shoots, 90% of the needs of others are covered.

Re: Thunar clear and disable Recent folder (recently used files) [Solved]
This is a gawd awful thing to have in a file manager - I've lost files because of it today, (whilst trying to empty it) - it really does need to go!
