Hi,
Shopping for new Laptop.
I chose Intel CPU for flexibility since I have software & peripheral device that needs Intel pc for compatibility sake plus I want ability to use either Linux or Window OS if need be. I know a tall list of demands.
What do you suggest for custom or retail options?

Re: Nordvpn Linux gui
Thanks for your efforts! I will give it a try when I renew my subscription. I have moved on to Mullvad for a test run. It gives me a server closer to home.

Re: Reset your MX root passwd @boot
I should also note that I am using KDE version. IS it an issue with the login screen or something else compounding this problem?

Reset your MX root passwd @boot
Hi,
I tried the sudo passwd root command.
It said it completed successfully, but still unable to log into root. The reason I want root is to download & install the blasted HP printer driver otherwise it is a useless doorstop.

Re: Nordvpn Linux gui
I get it. I use terminal when I need to access direct tweaking, otherwise I have mine setup via a router.

Re: Nordvpn Linux gui
I respect that. I was mainly looking for feedback on the new & improved offering. I had in mind my tech challenged relatives. I had seen the whiners online who had come over from Windows & had no literacy in Linux at all. All the other big Vpn companies have apparently made gui's for their linux ...

Nordvpn Linux gui
In my surfing I found out that Nordvpn has built a gui for all those Linux challenged refugees. Has anyone tried it?
Will it work out of the box or does it need special tweaking for our flavour of Linux?
They finally updated site to include documentation for Linux users, not just those that used ...

Re: Installing ProtonVPN on MX KDE, step by step [Solved]
I don't know your use case hardware & space wise. Is it for a laptop or a desktop?
At home I connect to Vpn via my router. I use an Asus router with Asuswrt-merlin installed, custom scripts & an ethernet hub.
This gives me the best of both worlds as needed; wireless & wired connection points ...
