I installed the 5.1.11 antiX kernel on my live USB and it appears to work fine.

I use the default.
I am still learning a lot about Linux systems so I'm very much an end user kind of guy at this point. I didn't know I had a choice. I also have no idea what impact my making a choice about this would have on me. I don't know enough about these things to make an informed decision ...

Having accidentally created a FrakenDebian in the past, requiring a nuke-and-pave style reinstall, I am trying to learn from my past mistakes.

MX Linux definitely shows what Xfce can do and just how good it can look, feel, and function. I used to think Xfce was just... kind of plain and boring. MX has definitely changed my mind about that!
