I just tested one of my favorite MX features, the MX snapshot tool, and it works as advertised. Still on the vm.

I installed to a vm. I haven't tried everything out yet, but I like the modern clean look.

It's funny. In the past I bounced between two seemingly opposites: Debian and Arch.
I'd get bored with Debian and install Arch. Then some update would mess me up an an awkward time and I'd go back to Debian for the stability.

Sorry for the silly question, but I've never done it. What is the best way to post a screenshot here on the forum?

I personally like the idea of saving older machines from the scrap heap. And with MX, my refurbished Dell Latitude runs fast and trouble-free.

If you want to disable the touchpad only while typing on the keyboard, you could also try syndaemon
syndaemon -i 1 -d
The one is one second locking time
