Re: MX 19 x64 Updated Respin

Hmmm...can you run in a terminal:

cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mx.list

and then copy-paste the output of the command into a code block here? That should expose why you're getting complaints about the file.

Here are the contents of that file copied from FeatherPad

Re: MX 19 x64 Updated Respin

Thanks, SwampRabbit !
That's some serious searching. :)

Doing some interwebs hunting lead me across a bunch of bug threads about this NIC:

Please run MX Tools/Quick System Info, then right-click paste into a reply. (Quick System Info automatically copies the information to your clipboard, already formatted properly for pasting into the forum so all you have to do is a right-click/ paste, not a copy/paste.) Thanks.

Re: "I don't know anything about computers"

I noticed that a few normal, reasonable, intelligent people seem to throw their common sense and their ability to think and reason right out the window as soon as a computer enters the equation. They can no longer even read and follow instructions.

I STILL get that way sometimes, when I'm ...

Re: What's going on with my web searches?

The phrasing, choice of words and the order in which they are listed can have a dramatic effect on the results.
With error message seaches, I have found that the exact wording in quotation marks is more likely to produce helpful results.
If it's a very long message, try certain portions only ...

Re: YouTube tells me to update browser

It's because of the useragent value that is read by some web sites when they do their so-called "browser sniffing".
That type of supposed "error message" has been an ongoing issue and Pale Moon forum topic for years.
AT&T, for example, was really bad about that. It can be really annoying and ...

[SOLVED] Re: MX-19 Repository: intel-microcode

I think you are misreading the output, as you can have only one version installed. That should be the latest version that Debian has pushed to Buster: 3.20191115.2~deb10u1, since it's higher than the version add to our repo back when Debian hadn't updated for a while.
