What should have been done instead was to release 2025.5 as a "new" 2025.7 version, so that everyone would see there was a revert through normal update channels and why, and could immediately update to it. If your release process is so complicated it is difficult to fork off ...

Re: MXPI provides UNSUPPORTED version MullvadVPN-2025.6
Mullvad pulled 2025.6 because of "severe usability issues that flooded our support staff and pissed off users (for good reasons)."
However, version 2025.6 does work, for me at least.

Use native file dialogs in Libreoffice on MX 23 KDE
I just implemented the fix posted by dolphin_oracle: Use native file dialogs in Libreoffice on MX 23 KDE
This is great! I didn't even realize that this was something that could be changed.
Thanks!

Re: Alt + Tab alternatives
If you are using the KDE version, you can customize the Alt-Tab switching by selecting from the menu: Settings > System Settings.

Re: When attaching a USB drive, prompted with "You are not authorized to mount this device."
When I click on the checkbox and then click Apply, the checkbox becomes unchecked. I suspect this is symptomatic of the same problem. An application is requesting elevated privileges and not getting a response.
When I run 'sudo mx-tweak' from the command line, the checkbox stays checked after I ...

Re: When attaching a USB drive, prompted with "You are not authorized to mount this device."
I think this may be a PolicyKit issue. When I attempt to run Disk Manager from the menu, nothing happens. When I run it from the command line via:
/usr/bin/disk-manager-launcher
I get prompted for my password. Once I enter it, I get the message:
polkit-agent-helper-1: error response to PolicyKit ...

When attaching a USB drive, prompted with "You are not authorized to mount this device."
I've recently installed MX 23.1 KDE. When I insert a USB drive, I'm prompted to mount it. When I do, I get the message "You are not authorized to mount this device."

Re: Mullvad VPN version 2023.4 will not run under MX Linux 19.4
It reverted to 2023.3. I don't think 2023.4 will work unless GLIBC 2.29 can be ported to 19.4. Or if there's some way to trick the mullvad app into thinking that GLIB 2.28 is equivalent to 2.29.CharlesV wrote: Thu Jun 29, 2023 11:11 am @bwhawk So your now running on 2023.4 ?
