We have 2 options.

1. remove mp3gain from antiX repos (stretch, buster and beyond), which means it is dead as a package OR
2. I make available 2 debs that are needed - libasan0 and gcc-4.8-base

Which do you prefer?


Just an observation. I noticed all the packages are still available in MX 18.3 ...

MP3GAIN ( from Stable repo) - Packages has unmet dependencies
I searched and could not find any open threads, but don't know if MP3GAIN is going to be supported anymore.
However I'll report what I've seen and done.
After receiving error for unmet dependencies I installed DEB files from Jessie which ...

YouTube-dl-gui from stable repo will not run without ffmpeg which user can install from same stable repo.

Currently ffmpeg is only a recommended package for youtube-dl-gui, which MX doesn't install by default. I'll move it to the Depends to fix that. Thanks for catching that!
