I have not thought about it, as I have never used it.
It may consider a coincidence....but I have not inspired from postgresql but my idea is to make the word MX from elephant and their trunks

This logo elephant is not official, but an artistic impression to MX, stable, elegant and as these are baby elephants, so medium weight...
Btw, the elephants are making the letter M and their trunks X, So MX can be represented through them

I applaud your work and effort and well, bravery to make a move in this direction, obviously you've put significant time into it... The problem with losing the err... uhm... pyramids is where to begin from there... should it be the MX letters? Should it be another new symbol..? I'll be honest ...

Just tested this mx23_bgn wallpaper - it looks rather low-key in the screenshot but works very well as a background. Lots of subtle texture. And it's very soothing to my eyes. Nice.

The mxline23 wallpaper - it's interesting but I think will be better with a different font. Maybe a font that looks ...
