Re: Tiger Lake Laptop
Just a quick update:
All of my Laptops and PCs (Yes, I have a few ;) ) are workhorses, not often used for entertainment, so I just discovered that everything is perfect with the 5.9.0-5 kernel... except for sound... there isn't any ;) No audio device recognised - So I'll suffer the loss of touchpad ...

Tiger Lake Laptop
(Mods, please move if better-suited in another sub-forum)
No idea how often I'll log in here, as I've had a lot going on IRL for months (No, not Covid related... though that too) - but as I bought a new Laptop with the latest Tiger Lake processor and Iris XE integrated GFX, I thought I'd post my ...

Re: MX-19 Repository: The bpytop Thread
bpytop has been moved to the MX-19 Main Stable repo.
Has an unmet dependency
$ apt install -s bpytop
NOTE: This is only a simulation!
apt needs root privileges for real execution.
Keep also in mind that locking is deactivated,
so don't depend on the relevance to the real current situation ...

Simple way of getting bandwidth usage using the Terminal
This might help someone:
Nowadays, most seem to have uncapped bandwidth - for those that don't: vnstat is the perfect tool to monitor what you've downloaded/uploaded each day. For those that don't need or want a daemon running, you can just run a command in the terminal.
You could run ifconfig ...

Re: xfce forum captcha???? wtf?
