I have downloaded the 64-bit iso and written to USB

it boots ok on uefi laptop but hangs on an old legacy bios laptop. just wondered if there was something I am missing. thanks

It will not be possible to upgrade through any of the iterations of MX-19. Your choices are to test MX-19 Beta, and install the final version when available, or to install MX-18.3 now.

Once the release candidate is out, it might be possible to upgrade that to Final, but not otherwise

Hi, not sure if this is the correct forum to ask this question.

I am going to install MX-Linux on an old laptop and wondered, instead of going for the stable 18.3 version, if I installed MX-19 Beta 2.1 - will this get updated to the final stable 19 through the normal update process?
