Re: Transparent Panel Line Showing [Solved]

Many thanks @asqwerth for the tip, 'Show shadows under dock windows' was checked in Settings > Window Manager Tweaks > Compositor in MX 23 but not in MX 21.

Transparent Panel Line Showing [Solved]

Hello All,

On my only install of MX-23 on a laptop, when I try to create a transparent panel using a transparent .png as a background, it leaves a visible line around the edges of the panel.

Anyone know how to remove that line?

My other MX installs (21.3) this doesn't happen using the same ...

Don't think I'll hold my breath waiting for that to happen :frown:

Re: Copy/Paste Files on the Desktop [Solved]

Solved with a script provided by Misko_2083 on the Xfce Forum
Works faster than the default as only a single right and single left click is required after selecting

EDIT: the script is for a Thunar custom action.

Re: Copy/Paste Files on the Desktop [Solved]

I just started up a couple of laptops to see what they do, one has MX-21.3 & the other has MX-23.6 and neither of them do it.
21.3 the message box asking to rename, replace etc. comes up but it replaces as expected, 23.6 it pastes and auto renames however many times is desired.

Only thing I've been ...

Re: Copy/Paste Files on the Desktop [Solved]

Just found by accident another issue with this behaviour.

Can somebody please try the following to see if it's a further issue with the behaviour I mentioned above?

Have a file on the Desktop, right click & copy it, then right click and paste on the Desktop, when the message box comes up asking to ...

Re: MX Snapshot/Live USB Maker Some Ideas

It would also be nice if Live USB Maker did a check before beginning the create process and was able to notify users that there's not enough room on the USB they're trying to use.
I tried to create one yesterday without realising the 4.0 gb ISO was too large for the 3.6 gb USB stick I was trying to ...

Re: What do you want MX25 to be.?

I would like it to be at least as good as or better than MX-21.3 that I've been using for some time now.
I believe it shall be

Re: MX Snapshot/Live USB Maker Some Ideas

-maybe it would be useful when in the USB-Maker tool a different background could be set,
so that when starting instantly is shining up, that one is on the USB-trip

I always do that before I create a full system live USB.
I change the Desktop background and I also change the image used by LightDM ...

Re: Easier Hyperinking When Creating a Post?

richb OK, thanks for looking into it.

Eadwine Rose Thanks, I've mentioned a couple of times that's how it's done here, I was after an easier way, which I know can be done on vBulletin forums I use, but unfortunately it seems can't be done with phpBB.

siamhie Thanks, yes that's what I do now, I ...
