Linux "fighting back" - fugggedaboutit! The young'ns don't give a crap because it's not a cellphone (irony alert for Android/iPhone users!), and greybeards are dying off, literally. I'll just maintain peace of mind knowing that I don't need to be tied to the yoke of Windows in my golden years ...

You can use the G.U.I. to install Flatpak files by using the MX Package Installer by using the last tab on the right and is the way I do it since I had many bad experiences with using the command line interface.

I don't use WINE because in my experience it can never run a program made for Windows that there is no LINUX alternative like for one example is my R7 Uniden radar detector has software to update it only made for Windows, Apple, and nothing for LINUX. I use a Windows Laptop to update my radar ...
