Good evening.

I would like to install MX 23.3 only the operating system, i.e. quasi naked without programmes,
but with the actual security updates.

Is there a ready solution?
e.G ISO or internetbased installation?

Since I had first tried several times to prepare the hard disk for a GPT installation of MX without success, I then instructed the MX installer to use the entire disk.

The next step was to shrink the MX partition with gparted (screenshot 1) in order to create a separate home ...

I use an HP laptop that works perfectly with MX.
I have now removed the internal DVD burner and am using a caddy in its place so that I can use 2.5" hard drives as a second drive in the laptop.

Now I have tried to configure grub so that I can choose when switching on the computer ...
