Good evening.
I would like to install MX 23.3 only the operating system, i.e. quasi naked without programmes,
but with the actual security updates.
Is there a ready solution?
e.G ISO or internetbased installation?
Regards
Karl

I have found a way to play nearly all ripped Blu-Rays, made with makemkv, under MX 23.3
Good evening (German time),
My family only owns one Blu-Ray player.
Now I was finally fed up with constantly being asked to connect the player somewhere else, depending on whether my daughter or son or my wife and - last but not least - myself wanted to watch one of our Blu-Rays on her/ my TV.

Looking for good and reliable dictation software for MX
Hello, everybody.
The only dictation software I have found in the repos is PocketSphinx.
Unfortunately, I have not found a German language model.
Can one of you tell me a dictation software that runs under MX and also supports the German language?
I would also be willing to install Flatpaks.

Re: Recomendations for blue light filter
German ophthalmologists STRONGLY advise against blue light filters in spectacles, as they are useless and the possible long-term effects of hours of daily use by screen workers have not yet been clarified.
There is even a voluntary commitment by German ophthalmologists not to prescribe glasses with ...

how can I integrate new partitions into MX?
Good evening.
Since I had first tried several times to prepare the hard disk for a GPT installation of MX without success, I then instructed the MX installer to use the entire disk.
The next step was to shrink the MX partition with gparted (screenshot 1) in order to create a separate home ...

I have now removed the internal DVD burner and am using a caddy in its place so that I can use 2.5" hard drives as a second drive in the laptop.
