Is there a less convoluted method to get the IEGD or IEMGD driver installed into MX-14.4 or antiX?
I really like MX-14, but on the netbook, the Thunar locking up the computer is a show stopper.
I just use Thunar very carefully and don't keep it open very long.

Probably not. Intel hasn't updated ...

BTW, the netbook is not an Eeepc, but a Dell mini 1010

I noticed in your inxi -F report that your MX installation is using the fbdev driver rather than (presumably) an intel or vesa driver. that's probably not particularly good for performance either.

Booting "Live" mode only gives me a terminal.
Is there supposed to be a desktop?
After I login as demo pass demo - startx just returns me back to terminal with error:

I just want to comment on one thing I like very much about the html version.
I like the fact that it is all on one very large page.
Once completely downloaded, it can be saved to one file (plus one directory of pics and html stuff).
