Re: Is it possble to teach MX-21 to use a Ryzen 8600G?
Thank you for the hint. MX-23 AHS does support the 8600G - I still have to check audio but that's less important. I found a good guide as how to (try to) upgrade MX-21 to MX-23 (https://mxlinux.org/wiki/system/upgrading-from-mx-21-to-mx-23-without-reinstalling/) and decided to give it a try. It ...

Is it possble to teach MX-21 to use a Ryzen 8600G?
Hello all, First, let's make it clear: I know that MX-21 is "outdated". I do have an MX-23 installation, it works well and I am (slowly) setting everything as I want and need. However, I have a "production" machine that seems to be slowly dying (sometimes won't boot, various glitches) and I would ...

Re: MX-23 with Trinity Desktop (latest)
Hello,
Sorry, I did know there were people interested - but I am delighted :)
So the files are back. Here is the new link (to the directory with iso, md5 and readme):

If anything is not working, lease tell.
Regards,
Thierry

Re: new install mx23 nfs file sharing not working [Solved]
Thank you, this saved me.
I think a change of this sort should have been more documented (or does no one use nfs?). I spent quite some time trying to figure out why things worked with MX-21 but not MX-23...

MX-23 with Trinity Desktop (latest)
Hello all, I made a 64 bit respin of MX 23 with TDE (preliminary stable buids, so you get the latest version). No idea how to bring it on the list of respins, but if anyone wishes to try, here are the links: ISO https://mega.nz/file/Ef820ILb#omQ8lMtFT7x_N-lxyrWRlRAAq3lW7PvnpYK5fHzLggU md5 https ...

Re: Poll - Happy with KDE 4 or not?
I did not like KDE 4 from the start and no change (even Warren's) have modified this since. I won't use KDE 4, period. And if Mepis becomes a "KDE 4 only" distribution (as far as this has a meaning with Linux) I won't follow. I've changed for Ubuntu + Trinity and am testing Debian + Trinity at the ...
