I would have guessed that Fluxbox was much older. I first tried Fluxbox added to Mepis 6.0 (fluxbox 0.9.14-2, according to my notes), back in October 2006.

At the time, I wrote this in my notes: "After using fluxbox, I'm completely sold on Linux and Mepis." Hm.
