Re: Bluetooth won't resume after computer hibernation

have you tried disabling Bluetooth before you hibernate?
I would use MX Service Manager and try turning the BT service off there. Then let the machine hibernate and once it wakes up, start the service.

Also, you may find bluetooth radically different if you move to a liquorix kernel. ON my ...

Re: Bluetooth won't resume after computer hibernation

You have done a legacy install on a UEFI machine. The CSM module in your UEFI bios is meant to allow users to roll back to Windows 7 from Windows 8, 8.1 and the early builds of Windows 10. It was never intended for a Linux install and doing so can result in inexpiable glitches.

I'm not sure what ...

Bluetooth won't resume after computer hibernation

I received some Bluetooth headphones for Christmas, which I use to listen to music on my computer. They work, but . . . after my computer has been hibernating (say, overnight), when I try to pair my headphones to listen to something, they don't connect. Rebooting solves the issue, but I'd rather not ...

Re: Can't Boot From Hard Disk - SOLVED

Not to be condescending, but I'd use Timeshift (as you yourself mentioned) and create MX Snapshots.
Many people have insurance, consider them as well invested time for insurance.

The default settings are both dead simple.
HTH or motivates!

I'm sure I'll look into it once this recovery process ...

Re: Can't Boot From Hard Disk

Is the partition you were saving files to the same one that has your home ?

If so, using the Live USB, boot up and try moving some of those files off your installed hard drive. Once you get a few mb of space it should boot up.

I'm in the process of moving some of those files now. Hopefully ...

Can't Boot From Hard Disk - SOLVED

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but here goes.

The other day, I accidentally reformatted an external hard drive. After learning about photorec, I installed it and gave it a try. It seemed to be recovering my files, but the directory I was saving those recovered files to was on a ...

Re: Brother Printer Problems Anew [SOLVED]

I am test-driving the live version of MX-21_KDE. In the live version, I can get sound and internet working just fine, but printing is another matter entirely. (I had and eventually solved the problem two years agoin MX-19, one reason I have been reluctant to switch.) I tried running the script ...

Re: Brother Printer Problems Anew

It looks like I am back to square one after installing MX-21_KDE. In the printer configuration, it shows the driver installed. The IP address for the wireless printer is correct, although when I run the arp -a command, it shows me the IP address and says it is "<incomplete> on wlan0." In the KDE ...

Re: Brother Printer Problems Anew

I found the correct IP address and was actually able to open the Brother page for the printer in the browser. I then reinstalled the printer using the ipp protocol with the printer's IP address and was able to print a test page. Before I mark this as solved, though, I will need to go ahead and ...
