Veromix tip [Solved]

I hope this is the right place?! If not, sorry and please correct me.

If you like Veromix (soundfaders automatic on command for each open sound-source): Veromix.
Veromix will mostly not install well, see the web with much complaints. Dependency-problem.
It is a gtk3 or gtk+ app now, so I did a gtk3 install (it is not in MX 17 I found).
Next install for instance Veromix 0.18.3-1.
If deb. with Gdebi (inclusive some supportive dependencies wich will be installed too).

Works fine and I'm very happy (again, I used it in other Linux distro's) with my soundcontrolpanel for each app.

A couple of suggestions. It would help users to start by telling them what this is:

Veromix is a mixer for the PulseAudio sound server.
Features:
* control volume of each playback stream
* control volume of devices (hardware)
* control volume of input devices (microphone)
* move playback streams between different devices (drag icon of playback
stream and drop it on target device)
* mute/unmute (click icon)
* volume meter (on mouse over)
* PopUp-Applet (icon-representation if inside panel)
* can life in system tray or notification area
* kill playback streams
* set default output device
* Middle-click on panel icon mutes default output
* Mouse-wheel over panel icon increases/decreases volume of default output
* supports global hotkeys
* set volume above 100%
This package contains the GTK+ frontend for GNOME and others.

Next, you need to tell them where the package and its main dependency are:
--veromix-common (install this first):

Finally, an image is always helpful (below, with DeaDBeeF running).

This installed and launched OK, but I have no idea yet how to use it.

The problem with here and there a sound-source on your screen is that the faders are also everywhere.
For me it is easier to have them in a controlpanel-setting next to eacht other. And automatic in the right place.
I use the program for years and I'm very content with it. It is the only program that is able to do this. So a tip.

Are those identical to the ones on the site I referenced--oh, I see, it is in Wheezy and Jessie but not Stretch. And it was meant for KDE originally. Seems kind of marginal in terms of past and present errors, but glad it works for you. I started in terminal, and saw some problems but not sure how serious:

I do miss Veromix in MX23. I have not got it working.
I know one can find the same in Pulseaudio-playback.
But it is easy with one click.
